John Kidon, 66, of Bloomfield, formerly of Montclair, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 10am at Immaculate Conception Church in Montclair. Visiting will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair. caggianomemorial.com. Cremation will be private.
John was raised in Clifton and moved to Montclair in 1972, before settling in Bloomfield in 1995. He was a credit analyist for GAF Corporation in Wayne for many years, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Kidon is survived by his wife of 42 years, Betty (nee Lombardi), his children, John Kidon and his wife Trish, Kristin LaBatt and her husband David, his grandchildren, Brady and Ryan, and his sisters, MaryAnne Korczyinski, and Christine Hudson.
