Mr. Kenneth H. Harris, Sr., 86, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 30, 2013 in Hackensack-Mountainside Hospital surrounded by his family. Kenneth was raised in East Rutherford, NJ and was a long time resident of Montclair, NJ. He is predeceased by his three sisters; Mrs. Maude Guy, Mrs. Alberta Reynolds, Mrs. Jane Lee and four brothers; Gerald Harris, Roland Harris, John Harris and Harold “Skippy” Harris. Kenneth is survived by his loving devoted wife of 63 years, Elise Lorraine Harris and his four children; Mrs. Lauren Lapeyrolerie, Mrs. April Reid, Kenneth Harris, Jr. and Harold Harris; six grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn two siblings; Brenda Harris-Guy and Roy Harris, along with a host of loving relatives and friends. The services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church of East Orange; 144 Norman Street, East Orange, NJ. Visitation is at 10am followed by the funeral at 11am.
