Obituary for Lena M Ambrose


Lena M Ambrose, (nee Festa), of Bayville NJ, formerly of Verona NJ , passed away on June 12, 2015. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday June 16 at 10am at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Verona, with an interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting will be on Monday from 4-8pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair, caggianomemorial.com

Lena was born and raised in Montclair before moving to Verona in 1969 and was employed by Schering Plough Corporation for 45 years. Upon retirement, Lena enjoyed baking cookies for her family and friends.

Mrs. Ambrose is survived by her husband of 50 years, Leo; her daughters, Donna Ciccolini and her husband Matthew, and Diana Ambrose, two grandsons Joseph Peter, Nicholas Matthew Ciccolini and a brother Angelo Festa. She was predeceased by parents Peter and Olympia (nee Corbo) Festa, her sister, Dora Fandetta and her brother Philip Festa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Verona Fire Department, 880 Bloomfield Ave, Verona NJ, 07044, would be appreciated.
