Obituary for Dolores Anne Arnott

Dolores Anne Arnott, (nee Durr) 79, of The Villages, FL, passed away Sunday, August 2nd, at her daughters home in Verona NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 6th, 2015, 10am at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Verona with a Interment at Calverton National Cemetery on the following day. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 4-8pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair. caggianomemorial.com

Dolores was born in the Bronx, NY , moving to Lake Ronkonkoma and Barryville NY before retiring at The Villages, Lake Sumter, Florida. Always a caregiver, she retired as a teachers aide from the Eldred Board of Education in New York. She was an active member of the Busy Hands - Happy Hearts and Walk Away The Pounds in The Villages where she leaves some of her closest friends.

Mrs Arnott is survived by her husband of 57 years, William James Arnott, her children, William Arnott and his wife Robin, Cathy Arnott, Dolores Flood and her husband Don, Robert Arnott an his wife Elizabeth, her grandchildren, Sarah, Katie, Conner, Ryan, Megan, Sarah, Matthew, Sean, Mary , her brother, Robert Durr and his wife Judy, her special sister Joan McDowell and many nieces and nephews.
