Mildred C Petretta

Mildred " Millie" Petretta (nee Marotta), 94, entered into eternal rest on January 24, 2016 at the age of 94.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday January 28th at 12noon at St Lucy's Church in Newark, with an entombment at Holywood Cemetery Mausoleum in Union. Visiting hours will be on Thursday morning from 9am -11am at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair, NJ. caggianomemorial.com

Millie was born in Newark to Anthony and Maria Marotta and Lived in Newark and Belleville most of her adult life where she raised her family.
She graduated Girls Vocational High School and Attended Park Beauty school where she obtained her beautician license. She then worked at salons in Newark and her home salon where she immensely enjoyed the poker games and telling stories about her family and friends from Garside St.
Mildred was the Beloved wife of the late Michael Petretta. She is survived by her sons, Anthony and Patrick, her dear sisters Cary Colgero and Eleanor Marini, 6 cherished grandchildren, Danielle, Michael, Anthony, Kimberly, Patrick, Kristin, and her great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name to St Jude's Childrens Hospital, www.stjude.org, would be appreciated
