Rickey L Norwood, 68, of Montclair, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016. Visiting will be held on Monday December 19th from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at Caggiano Memorial, caggianomemorial.com 62 Grove St, Montclair. Visiting hours will also be on Tuesday from 10-11am with a funeral service beginning at 11am at Caggiano Memorial . Interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.



Rick was born in North Carolina, raised in Cape Canaveral, Florida, before settling in Montclair NJ, He was a letter carrier for the Montclair Post Office for 28 years and a minister at the Guiding Light Faith Christian Church Center in Montclair.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Josephine (nee Mobilio), his son Jack Guarino and his wife Rita, his daughter Rosalie Szynal and her husband Steve, his grandchildren, Danielle, Stephanie, Sara, and Julia, and by his sister Holly Norwood Henderson, and is predeceased by his parents, Ruth and Delbert Norwood, and his sister, Debbie Cantrell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Tolle Street Mission, Po Box 315, Nashua NH, 03061, would be appreciated.
