Margaret C. Arace (nee Major) 78, of Roseland, formerly of Upper Montclair, passed away on April 29, 2017. The family will be receiving friends and relatives on Saturday May 6th from 10am-12pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair, with a memorial service to begin at 12pm at the funeral home. caggianomemorial.com.
Margaret was born and raised in Newark, lived in Upper Montclair before settling in Roseland 17 years ago. Marge administered the counseling practice of her husband Dr. Richard Arace for many years. She was previously a Data Entry Manager for CCH-Computax in Englewood, NJ. And was the owner of Constant Keypunch Services.
Margaret was the prototype of the doting Auntie, beloved by all. Margaret loved to travel, especially her vacations in Italy, Sarasota FL, and St Maarten. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dr. Richard Arace, and by her sisters, Jacqueline Marsano, Alma Healy, Mary Porcello, and by her brothers, James, Kevin, Craig, and Dennis Major, and many nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by her sisters, Patricia Solden and Roberta Rogers.
