Obituary for Kenneth Michael Gomolka

Kenneth Michael Gomolka of Montclair passed into eternal life on May 31, 2017 at the age of 71. Viewing will be on Tuesday, June 6th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Caggiano Memorial Home, 62 Grove St., Montclair. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 7th at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish – Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 94 Pine St., Montclair. Interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair.
Born and raised in East Orange, Kenneth graduated from East Orange High School in 1963, studied floral design, and became well known for his original and creative floral designs. He was a member of Dignity NY and one of the founders of Dignity Metro NJ. Kenneth served as a Eucharistic Minister at Our lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Montclair. He is survived by an older brother Frank and his wife Diane, their sons and grandchildren.
