Obituary for Kathleen Kohler Monahan
Kathleen Kohler Monahan, 48, of Glen Ridge, died on Saturday, July 29, 2017, after a brave and courageous battle with leukemia. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Thursday, August 3rd at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 94 Pine St, Montclair with an entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington. Visiting will be on Tuesday evening from 7-9pm and Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair. Caggianomemorial.com
Kathleen was a graduate of Glen Ridge High School and Caldwell College. Prior to her illness she was a school accountant and auditor.
She is survived by her devoted parents Edward Sr. and Kathleen (nee Paternostro) Kohler, her children Kathlyn Theresa and Ryan Edward Monahan, her brother Edward Jr. and his wife Jessica, her nephew Joshua Samuel, and by her loving fiancée Douglas Triplett and his sons Todd and Douglas.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Kathleen Celeste Kohler Memorial Scholarship Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
