Obituary for Nicholas Masone
Nicholas Rocco Masone, 82 , of Montclair, passed away on Saturday May 19th, 2018. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday May 24th, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Montclair. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2-4pm and 7-9pm, at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove Street, Montclair.
Nick was a lieutenant in the Montclair Fire Department for 25 years before retiring in 1985. He was also the owner of Pit Stop Express Lube and Auto Laundry of Montclair.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Donna (nee Testa), his children, Patrick and his wife Gina, Susan Wank and her husband Gary, Michael and his wife Eileen. His grandchildren, Joseph Pretto and his wife Mary-Kate, Mario Cortellacci and his wife Lori, Nicolette Masone, Dante Cortellacci, Nicholas Masone and Ava Masone.
Nick is predeceased by his parents, Patsy and Susie (nee Quadrel) Masone.
