Obituary for Luke Palumbo

Luke Palumbo, 90, of, Toms River, formerly of Montclair and Newark, passed away on Sunday August 12th, 2018. Visiting will be on Thursday morning from 8:30am-9:30am at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair, with a funeral Mass to follow at 10am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 94 Pine St, Montclair. Luke was a manager at Automatic Switch in NYC, East Orange and Florham Park for over 50 years, after retirement he worked as a teller at Monmouth Park and the Meadowlands. He served in WWII in the Army Medical Corps in California.

He is survived by his sisters, Lucille Mascera, and Rita Bedrock, and by 26 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Alphonse ”Flash”, Anthony, and Vincent, and by his sister, Anna Cann.
