Condolences

Condolence From: Edward Thomas
Condolence: To the Testa Family, Please accept my condolences. Barbara and I became best friends with Margaret in the 1960's when we babysat for her and Dominic's children. After Barbara and I divorced, I did not see Margaret and Dominic until the early 1980's, for a brief time. She still had a wit that she had not lost. During the time we knew each other she made me laugh so many times with that wit. I understand from my son Michael she never lost that wit.
About a month or so ago, Michael sent me a photo of Barbara and me that was given to him by Kenny. After some thought I realized it was taken at Margaret and Dominic's house on Stephens St. on Christmas Eve 1962. It brought back some memories. Thanks Kenny.
One of those memories was shortly after Lisa was born. I had never held an infant. I was scare to hold Lisa because I thought I would do it wrong and hurt her. I believe Lisa was less than two months old when this happened. In the same room where the photo was taken (the small TV room off of the living room), I was sitting on the couch. Margaret and Barbara came into the room and Margaret plopped Lisa on my lap and left. I pleaded with Margaret to come back and get Lisa. Her response was, "figure it out." I sat for a long time with Lisa in my lap. Finally, I figured it out.
As I told Michael, when spoke about the about the photo, Margaret will always have a place in my heart. She will always.

Condolence From: Lisa Macgregor-Kaplan
Condolence: To the Testa Family,
Please accept our condolences on the loss of a great lady. We used to see Marge very often when visiting our Grandpa, John MacGregor, when growing up. We are sure he and Dom were there to greet her. We still have an old Christmas card from Marge that was a picture of her underwater while scuba diving. She wrote, "Scoobeedoobeedoo!" She will be missed.

Fondly, Kathryn, Scotty & Kelly MacGregor (and Mom, Lisa)
