Lena Ostella (nee Cestone), 88, of Montclair, passed away Thursday, December 12th, 2013 at her home. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday December 17th, 10am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Montclair, interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Lena was a medical transcriber for Lung Diagnostics in Glen Ridge for many years before retiring. She was very active at the Women's Club of Upper Montclair, and a lifelong Montclair resident.

She is survived by her children, Michael and his wife Evelyn, Ralph and his wife Dorothy, Leanne Whitlock and her husband Robin, Dr. Frank and his wife Lisa, her grandchildren, Geoffrey and his wife Melissa, Peter and his wife Michelle, Michael and his wife Amy, Christine Ponka and her husband Joseph, Steven, Amanda, Douglas and Frank Jr, and by her great-grandchildren, Sophie, Maxine, Jackson, Lukas, Trey, Lila, Caleb, and is predeceased by her husband in 1994, Mario Albert, and by a granddaughter Katherine Whitlock and her brother Frank Cestone.
