Obituary for Albert "Bubby" Lambrugo

Albert “Bubby” Charles Lambrugo, 83, of Montclair, N.J., passed away on August, 20, 2016. Visiting hours will be held from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday, August 23rd,at Caggiano Memorial Home, 62 Grove St, Montclair. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 24th at 10:00AM, at the funeral home, interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Albert, was born in Orange, N.J., on March 18, 1934, to Peter and Irene (nee Wilburn) Lambrugo. Albert served as a Private First Class in the Army from 1953-1955 where he played in the Army band. After being honorably discharged, Albert became a member of the Montclair Fire Department and retired with thirty four years of service. Mr. Lambrugo was the husband of the late Patricia Ann Lambrugo (nee Tennaro); proud father of Jacqueline Modestino and her husband, Paul Modestino, Peter Lambrugo and his wife, Roseanne Lambrugo, and Jennifer Lambrugo; grandfather of Michael Lambrugo, Gia Modestino, Paul Modestino, and Gerard Lambrugo. Albert enjoyed playing the trumpet and was a body builder in his early years.
