Obituary for Raymond M Pizzano

Raymond Michael Pizzano, 67, of Parlin, passed away on Sunday October 23, 2016. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday October 27, at 10:30am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Montclair. Interment at Brigadier William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Caggiano Memorial Home, 62 Grove St, Montclair. caggianomemorial.com

Raymond was born and raised in Montclair then graduating from Bloomfield High School before he joined the US Marines in 1968, where he received a Purple Heart. He was a Corrections Officer for the Essex County Jail in Newark for 25 years. He is survived by his wife Theresa, his children, Carmen and his wife Rene, Raymond and his Fiancee Joelle, his grandchildren Gianna and Luciano, his brothers, Paul and his wife Danielle, Carmine, Joseph and his wife Patricia, his dog-daughter Cookie, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Josephine (nee DePalma) Pizzano, and a brother Dominick Pizzano, and his sister-in-law Concetta.
