Condolence From: Chuck Govostes
Condolence: I lived in the apartment across the hall from Keith at UMASS. He was such a huge part of our daily lives there. A truly remarkable man, one I will never forget.

May perpetual light shine upon him.

Condolence: I am so very sad to have learned about Keith's passing. I first met Keith when looking for a place for my mom to live, just over 7 years ago. I remember that day and him, vividly, like it was just yesterday. He showed me around Horizon Manor and I knew instantly that this was the place for her. What sold me was Keith's incredible warmth, genuine nature and sense of humor. I felt an immediate connection to Keith and he and my mom shared a special bond that will never be forgotten.

Condolence: I was trying to figure it out the other day, and I came up with 41 years now that Keith has been a friend -- to say that he will be missed is an understatement. We've been separated by a long distance for a while and everybody has all their own stuff going on in their lives, but when we did get together it was as if no time had passed whatsoever. I feel extremely lucky to have spoken with him on the phone a few short weeks ago. I will miss that sunny disposition, that voice that I've known for almost 3/4 of my life. Such great memories and those last forever. To his Mom, I wish there were some way I could lessen your pain, but remember he lives on in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved him.

Condolence: We are heartbroken to hear the news about Keith and we wish Carol all the love and comfort that we can during this difficult time. Although we live at the other end of the country, we’ve always remained close in spirit. Marilyn and I are thankful for the time we spent with Carol and Keith during our visit at the end of October. We will always remember Keith for his energy, his humor, and his caring heart.

Condolence: I wanted to express my deepest condolences on the loss of your son. Keith was a friend of mine at UMass Amherst; he lived in the apartment directly across the hall from mine for a year and a half. During that time, one of my roommates died in a motorcycle accident; Keith and I rode to and from the burial together. He helped me to get through a very difficult time, and I recall many late nights sitting up talking. I would visit him in NYC after college, but we lost touch over the years, much to my regret. Keith had a style and charm that was all his own; I recall him as being a remarkably intelligent and warm human being, one whom I will always remember. I am grateful to have known him and to have called him my friend. May Jesus rest him in heaven until we meet again.

Condolence: Dave and I are still in shock over the news of the loss of such a fine and loving person. He brought a level of joy and happiness to all he came in contact with. During my father's stay at the Manor, Keith's visits were always fun and uplifting. It was a great comfort to us that Keith and Carol loved Hank so. Keith, you made a real difference in this world and will always be remembered. All our love, Paul and Dave.

Condolence: I only knew Keith a short time. He is the reason my Mom is now living at Horizon Manor. I will always remember Keith as a very caring and kind person. He is and was a gentile man. I will miss him and our conversations and I know his houseguests will also miss Keith. Carol, I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Rest in Peace Keith.

Condolence: I met Keith in Mrs. Rabin's 1st grade class at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School. Keith was one of the kindest, sweetest people I knew. While we were in different social circles as we went through school, there was never a time that we would not say hello to each other in passing. He was one of the people I could say that I knew most of my life. Fun to catch up on Facebook and I always enjoyed reading his quips on life and various funny posts. He will most definitely be missed. My prayers and sincere condolences to his mom Carol and extended family. May Keith rest in eternal peace knowing that he positively impacted all that had the pleasure to know him.
