Condolence: My condolences to Jean's family and friends. She was born 13 days before my mother Jean O'Connell (married name Blewitt), and they became fast and life long friends from their first day of kindergarten. We considered her a member of our family - not put of any kind of obligation, but because we loved her so much. A wonderful woman. Jean, if there's e-mail in heaven, send me a note! I miss you.

Condolence: I am sad to hear that Jean has passed away. She was a special lady in my family's life. Jean and my mom, Jean Blewitt, met when they were 5 years old and remained best of friends for 80 years until my mom died in 2010. The "Jeans" were quite a pair and shared many an adventure. My 10 brothers and sisters all have a special place in our hearts for Jean and I shall treasure the time I was able to spend visiting her these last few years at Crane's Mill, reminiscing with many laughs about old times with my family and learning more about her life. I will miss her. On behalf of the entire Blewitt family, I offer our deepest sympathies.
