Obituary for Marlene McKoy

It is with deep profound sadness that the family of Marlene Titina McKoy announces her sudden passing, on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at the age of 64 years. She was born on April 8, 1952, in the Parish of St. Mary (Bonny Gate) Kingston, Jamaica West Indies, and was the daughter of the late beloved Elsie Scott. She migrated to the United States in 1992 and resided in Montclair, NJ for the past 24 years. Most importantly, Marlene loved Christ Jesus and was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church, Montclair, NJ where she served and enjoyed the fellowship among the community of faith believers. Her loving memories will be cherished and remembered by her sister Rosemarie Hall, nieces/nephews-in-laws Charmaine Witter, Dr. Ingrid Singh, nephews Fabian Powell, Ricky & Fiona Powell, Stephen & Karen Powell, Karey Hall, Dominic Hall; grandniece & grandnephews/in-laws Roseann Hall, Jason & Ferris Murray, son Leo Murray, Mario & Allyson Witter, Isaiah Powell, Amarae Witter, Trydanna Powell, Wesley Hall; brother-in-law Harry Bird and dear family friends Bruce Rudish, Hugho Witter, Lance & Simone Witter and son Aden Witter. Marlene will also be fondly remembered by uncle Dada, Edward, and numerous cousins and their families. She was predeceased by her beloved Sister Verona Bird, Aunts Gloria, Sarah, Minette, Auntie Bell and Uncles William and Wellesley (Dunsiman), who she loved dearly. A Funeral Service in memory of Marlene McKoy will be held on Saturday, February 3rd, at 12:00 p.m., at Caggiano Memorial Home, 62 Grove Street, Montclair, NJ 07042.
