Obituary for Asemina Kazameas

Asemina Kazameas,(Livanos), 92, of Brick, passed away on Friday March 16, 2018. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am on Monday March 19th, at St Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Roseland, interment at Rosedale Cemetery, Montclair. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 1-5pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair. Caggianomemorial.com

Asemina was born in Chios Greece and came to Newark NJ in 1949, then moved to West Orange and before settling in Brick 1985. She was a kitchen manager at Arnold Constable in West Orange for many years. She was a parishioner, a member of the Daughters of Penelope and Philoptochos Society at St Barbara’s Church in Toms River.

She is survived by her children, George Kazameas, and his wife Niki, Dorothy Farris, Helen Rodriguez and her husband Pops, and Mary Kazameas, a brother Stelios Livanos and his wife Helen, and a sister Theodora Kokidis, and her husband Panayiotis, 5 grandchildren, Konstantine, Melissa and her husband Michael, Gus, Christos and his wife Matina,and Andreas and 2 great grandchildren, Konstantine and Elias, and was predeceased by her husband Gus in 1985, by her son Basil Kazameas, and daughter Irene Kazameas.
