Obituary for Ida Baldi

AGATHA (IDA) BALDI
Agatha (Ida) Baldi, 96, of Vernon, NJ, formerly of Montclair, NJ, passed away peacefully March 27th, 2018 at the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice in Fredon, NJ.
Visitation will be Wednesday (today), March 28th, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm at Caggiano Memorial Home, 62 Grove St., Montclair, NJ. Caggianomemorial.com A funeral blessing will be offered on Thursday March 29th, at 10:30A.M. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 94 Pine St., Montclair. Burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
Agatha was the loving daughter of Sebastiano and Angela Petronecci and the beloved wife of the late Alphonse Baldi, who she always referred to as “the love of her life.”
Agatha was employed at Westinghouse Electric Corp., in Bloomfield before retiring to be a homemaker. She was a lifelong parishioner at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church in Montclair. Agatha was a member of the St. Sebastian Society, as were her parents before her. For most of her life, Agatha took great pride in, and enjoyment from, her involvement in the St. Sebastian and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel feasts. Agatha was an avid bowler and a great dancer.
She is survived by her loving children, Barbara Petronaci and her husband John and Allan Baldi and his wife MaryJane, and her adored grandchildren, Jamie Cuccaro and her husband Joey, Brian Petronaci, Jessica Petronaci and her fiancé Ryan Schwester, and Christopher, Alyssa and John Baldi. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Angela Wolgast and her brother Santo Petronecci.
