Obituary for Cosmo Cerrigone

Cosmo Cerrigone, 71, of Little Falls, passed away on Monday June 4th, 2018. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am on Friday June 8th at Church of the Immaculate Conception, 30 North Fullerton Ave. Interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting will be on Thursday from 4-8pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair. Caggianomemorial.com
Cosmo was born in San Giorgio Albanese, Italy and emigrated from Italy to Montclair, NJ in 1963, then moving to Little Falls in 1977. He was the co-owner of Via Veneto Men’s Salon in Cedar Grove,with his brother Jerry for the past 52 years. He was well known and loved by many customers and acquaintances for his contagious smile and warm personality. Cosmo is survived by his wife Jane (nee Allegri) the love of his life, his son Giancarlo and his daughter Francesca and by his three siblings, Maria of Quilmes, Argentina; Giorgio and his wife Teresa of Istrana, Italy; and Jerry and his wife Lori of North Caldwell. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews: Jerry (Liz); Joseph (Nicole);, Nicholas, Isabella Jeffrey (Honey) and Jennifer, and many great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Damiano and Rosina (nee Zicaro), and by his sister Immacolata “Tina” in 2017.
