Obituary for Joseph S "Sal" Geraci
Joseph Salvatore Geraci “Sal”, 88, of Glen Ridge, passed away on Sunday June 2, 2019. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11am on Friday June 7th at Caggiano Memorial Home, 62 Grove St, Montclair, cremation will be private. Visiting Thursday June 6th from 4-8pm at Caggiano Memorial.
Sal was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Europe and played baseball for the Heidelberg Hawks. He then played in a semi-pro league for the East Orange Soverels.
Sal is survived by his wife Rose (nee Fristachi), his daughter Lori Berardinelli and her husband Joe, his son Joseph Geraci and his beloved Jen Kowal, his cherished grandchildren, Michael and Joseph Berardinelli, and was predeceased by his brother George Geraci.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
