Obituary for Angelo Giangerelli
Angelo A. Giangerelli, 78, lifelong Belleville resident, passed away on Sunday June 23rd, 2019, surrounded by his family. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday June 27th at St Peters Church, 155 William St, Belleville, cremation will be private. Viewing hours Wednesday June 26th from 4-8pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair.
Angelo worked for Admiral Corp in East Ruthererford then NJ Developmental Center in Totowa as a maintenance supervisor before retiring. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict serving in the US Army and was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Belleville Council #835. He was an avid hunter and loved spending time at his family farm in Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his siblings, George Giangerelli, Anita Petretta and her husband Anthony, Michael Giangerelli and his companion Jacqueline Petretta, and by his niece and nephews, Janine, Michael and Anthony, and by his loving grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Anita (nee Bolcato) Giangerelli,by his sister- in-law Patricia, and by his companion Ruth McGrievy.
