Diane DeLane, 54, of Andover, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 peacefully at home. She was born in Belleville, New Jersey and grew up in West Caldwell, New Jersey. Diane was a 1982 graduate of James Caldwell High School and a 1983 graduate of Katherine Gibbs Business School. She worked for Nabisco Brands and Kraft Foods from 1985-2009 at which point she took on her best role as a stay at home mom. Diane’s greatest accomplishment was giving birth to her beautiful daughter, Jenna Nicole in 2007. Diane is predeceased by her father, Chester Barrasso; grandparents, Chester and Philomena Barrasso, and Nicholas and Clementina Salvatore, and father-in-law, Gerald DeLane. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Jerry DeLane; her cherished child, Jenna Nicole; her mother, Marie Barrasso; her mother-in-law, Jean DeLane; her siblings, Chet Barrasso and his wife Colleen, Donna Spero and her husband Joseph, and Steven Barrasso and his wife Mary; nieces and nephews, Talia Spero, Daniela Spero, Alyssa Spero, Nicholas Barrasso, Marley Barrasso, Nicole Barrasso, Juliana Barrasso, and Valentina Barrasso; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved, dear friends. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 3-8 PM at Caggiano Memorial-Home in Montclair, New Jersey. Funeral mass will be held at 10 AM on Friday August 16th at Saint Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in West Caldwell, New Jersey. A private cremation will follow.
