Mike was everyone's friend. He was extremely likable because of his genuine, caring nature. Always looking to help, always ready to lend an ear...I understand why my brother David spoke so highly of Mike...because he was one of the good ones.
To Mike's family, I'm so sorry for your loss but at the same time you should all be so proud of your Dad ...he was exactly what the world needs more of...good, caring human beings! God bless

Dear Trusio Family:

I wanted to write to tell you how horrible I feel about the passing of your father Michael Trusio.
I met your father around the Fall of 1981 during the Fall semester at Seton Hall University. We were both Finance Majors along with David Claxton.
Your father I believe attended Seton Hall on a track scholarship. I believe he was from a modest background as they say. Like many students attending Seton Hall at that time, he was from a family that did not have both parents with a college degree (like me) and a lot of students had parents that had never attended college.
Over the years I have enjoyed his conversation at seton hall basketball games and our tailgating at West Point before and after football games. Our conversations were at times humorous and at times deep in thought.

In short, he will be missed.

My sincere condolences,

Douglas McGowan
Seton Hall University Class of 1983

Mike was my cubicle neighbor when we worked at Lonza together. He started our 3pm coffee break tradition, one that still lives on. Our group has many fond memories of our time working with him and even after all these years, since he moved on to other companies, we'd still tell the "remember that time when Mike..." stories. We'll never forget him and will miss him dearly.
