Obituary for Sebastian Milazzo
Sebastian (Yano) Milazzo, 94, lifelong Montclair resident, passed away on April 20, 2020, following a brief illness with Covid-19.
An avid sports fan, Yano especially enjoyed attending high school football games. He was proud to be the assistant manager of Montclair High School's 1943 championship football team. A historian regarding Montclair sports, he could recall names and statistics dating back to the 1930s.
Sebastian proudly served in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. After serving, he was employed for 37 years at the Motor Club of America in the accounting department. He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Montclair.
Sebastian was predeceased by his parents, John and Chancey Milazzo as well as his sisters, Teresa and Rose. He is survived by many cousins.
