Obituary for Estelle Stewart

Estelle Stewart, a lifelong resident of the Montclair area died peacefully at her home with her family by her side Thursday, the 24th of April.
Born in 1932 in Loudoun County, V.A. (Bluemont), to the parentage of the late James Logan Anderson and his wife Estelle Ramey Anderson. Estelle graduated Loudoun High and soon made her way to New Jersey. She was a dedicated employee at Community Hospital for 30 years, most as Dietary Supervisor, until the hospital closed and she retired.
Estelle faithfully attended New Hope Baptist Church in East Orange, NJ, until her passing. Anyone who knew Es knew she loved her family and her soap operas. She was a truly sweet and wonderful person.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons and their families, James Marvin Stewart and his wife, Viola, and Daryl Ray Stewart. She is also survived by two brothers Lynwood and Larry Anderson, a brother-n-law James Howard, a sister-n-law Mary Summers, and her nephew Kenneth Howard who came to New Jersey, a step daughter Mary Ellen, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, five more nieces and nephews, two step grandsons and three step great- grandchildren.
Estelle was preceded in death by her husband Maurice Ray Stewart, her son Carlyle Maurice Stewart, her sister Mary Virginia Howard, and brothers Jessie Anderson and Leslie Anderson.
Caggiano Memorial Home, Montclair, has been entrusted with arrangements.
