Mary Ann LaStella, 92, of Glen Ridge, passed away on July 1, 2020. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday July 8th at Immaculate Conception Church, Montclair, interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair.. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 4-8pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair.

Mary Ann was a production manager for 3 trade magazines before she was the owner of Mary Ann’s Kitchen in Montclair. After the restaurant she was the secretary for the Montclair State University Police. She was also the past president of the Rosary Alter Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Montclair for over 40 years.

Mary Ann is survived by her children, Patricia Monterosa and her husband Michael, and Lori LaStella, her grandchildren, Matthew and Alexis Monterosa, and by her sister, Dolores Pierce and her husband Robert, and her sister-in-law Mariann Pignatello, and was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2018, and by her brother Patrick Pignatello.
Memorial donations to the Clara Maas Foundation for the Wound Center at Clara Maas Hospital or to St Barnabas Cancer Center Foundation.

Sincere condolences to all Mary Ann's family members. I will forever remember her beautiful smile and beautiful ways. She was a beautiful person in so many ways and I am happy to have the chance to be in her life for a second time. May she rest in peace.
