Obituary

Gerald (Jerry) Petullo passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a battle with brain and lung cancer on October 9, 2020. A visitation will be on Thursday, October 15th from 4 pm to 7 pm with a funeral service beginning at 7 pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove Street, Montclair, NJ.



Jerry was born in Newark, New Jersey on November 20, 1960 and is predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Gerarda Petullo.



He worked for his father’s construction company for many years and more recently worked as a laborer for the Local 472. Some of his favorite past times were cruising around Bloomfield and Montclair in his green pick-up truck, playing the PICK 3 and 6, doing scratch offs, watching classic TV shows like The Andy Griffin Show and listening to classic rock.



Jerry is survived by his three sisters, Maria Petullo-Carr and her husband, Frank, Angela Leonard and her husband Mark and Anna Robson and her husband, Donald his 8 nieces and nephews: Cassandra, Francis, Alanna, Briana, Bianca, Nicholas, Gabriella and Daniella and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.



Please omit flowers, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association would be appreciated.

To enter the premises, you must have and wear a mask, and follow social distancing guidelines. 50 people are allowed within the premises at any given time, so please keep your condolences brief.

Great times growing up hanging with the gang, although over the years we lost touch I never forgot those times. Rest in Peace Jerry.
