Obituary for Gino Ciriaco Rauseo

Gino Ciriaco Rauseo passed away on December 7, 2021 at the age of 72, surrounded by his family. His battle with numerous medical issues in recent years showed his courage facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Gino was a hero and stayed strong until the end.

Gino left his hometown of Aquilonia, Italy to come to America so that he could start a life where there were greater opportunities for him to raise a family.

Gino is survived by his wife Rosina. He was a proud father to his two daughters Maria and Gerardina, and his son Francesco. He also leaves behind his two son-in-laws, Jonathan Casalaspro and Greg Graziano. His bright personality will be missed by his four granddaughters, Isabella, Sofia, Adriana, and Gianna with whom he loved to spend quality time with. He is survived by his mother-n-law Maria Castucci, his brother Vito Rauseo and his wife Michela, his sisters Ersilia Rauseo and her husband Gaetano Iasparrone, Carolina Petullo and her husband Angelo, Gerardina Rauseo and her husband Angelo Sibilia, and many nieces, nephews and cousin.

He was predeceased by his father, Francesco Rauseo and mother, Maria Pastore


His courage and strength reminds us all of how precious life is.


A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday December 11, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Montclair, entombment at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover. Visiting Friday from 4-8pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair.
