Obituary for Rocco Coppola
Rocco Coppola, 87 of Montclair, NJ formerly of Aquilonia (AV), Italy, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 21st from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Caggiano Memorial, located at 62 Grove Street, Montclair, NJ. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12 pm on Wednesday, December 22nd at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Montclair, followed by an Entombment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Upper Montclair.
Rocco is survived by his wife Gaetana (nee Padula) of 59 years, and by his three sons Antonio and his wife Christine, Vincenzo and his wife Theresa, and Rocco Jr. and his wife Nancy, and by his loving grandchildren Nicholas, Ashley, Vincent, Michael, Adam and Rocco. He was predeceased by his parents Antonio and Maria Carmela.
Rocco was born and raised in Aquilonia (AV), Italy and served in the Italian Air Force before coming to the U.S. in 1965. He was the owner of Ridge Barber Shop in North Arlington until he retired in 2010. He was a past president of St. Vito’s Society in Montclair and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
