Obituary for Frances Spencer
Frances Louise “Sis” Hancock Spencer entered this life on October 18, 1928 in Drakes Branch, Virginia. On January 16, 2022 God called her home to rest. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 28th at 12pm, at Caggiano Memorial Home, 62 Grove Street, Montclair, New Jersey.
Frances graduated from Central High in Charlotte Court House Virginia. Frances was known for her kindness, independence, and loving nature. Her kindness was displayed by the help she gave and offered to many in their time of need. She enjoyed cooking or baking for the community. She was known for her cakes and eggplant parmigiana. Sis enjoyed watching on television, Judy Judy, Matlock, Andy Griffith, Personal Injury, and many others.
Frances, you have gone to eternal rest, but your smile, self-sufficiency, self-supporting attitude, and your wonderful life memories will live on in our hearts. You will be missed immensely.
She leaves behind to celebrate her life, and will be lovingly remembered by, her daughters who she is most proud of, Linda Spencer and Gail Brent-Barnhill. She left to mourn her two granddaughters Talisha & Patricia and great grandson August her sibling Evelyn Delores Galloway, nieces and nephews, and special friends Katie and Michelle.
Frances was made “mother” of Whosoever Will Church, Paterson, New Jersey.
