Obituary for Robert "Bob" MacFall

Robert "Bob" MacFall, 79, of Clearwater, FL passed away on March 27, 2022. Born and raised in Dover, NJ, he graduated from Dover High School in 1960 where he played both basketball and baseball. After Bob graduated from Grove City College in 1964, he enlisted in the Army. He served 3 years as an officer in the Intelligence Corp and, then, began a long career as a comptroller and consultant for several companies, including Clevepak and Kaiser Permanente. In 1968, Bob married his childhood friend Barbara Goebel and they were married for almost 40 years until her death. They had lived in LeRoy, NY and Avon, CT before moving to Clearwater. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Ruth MacFall. Bob is survived by his sister, Janet Rieth, as well as his daughter Pamela Moed, and his 3 beloved grandchildren Joshua Moed, Sydney Moed and Jack Moed. Always an avid sports fan, he particularly loved his Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tampa Rays. Bob will be fondly remembered as a devoted family man, who was incredibly kind to everyone, and an active member of the Presbyterian Church in each of the places he lived. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 11am at Caggiano Memorial Funeral Home in Montclair, NJ.
