Obituary for Mario Garone
Mario Michael Garone, formerly of Upper Montclair and West Milford passed away on June 4, 2022. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 11 at St. Cassian's Church in Upper Montclair. Interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetary in Upper Montclair. Funeral services will be private.
Mario was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University and New York Law School. Mario was an attorney for ITT Corp. in Nutley for many years before retiring. He loved to sail and ski.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Garone Brodsky and her husband Dr. Adam Brodsky, his grandsons Luke and Nicholas, his nieces Phyllis Giangresso, Dianne Kropp, Jane Cerrigone, Mary Garone Lentz, Carol Florio Wronko, Karen Garone Hurley, and Dorothy Garone Finklestein, and his nephews John Garone, Jerry Florio and John Florio.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary (Lopardo) Garone, his brothers Michael and Joseph Garone, and his sisters Teresa Florio, Florence Allegri, and Jeanette Garone.
