We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Sally DiMaggio, our beloved sister & a former resident of Montclair, who took her last breath on December 22nd, 2022. She was 48 years old. Her bright light & big heart left us too soon, but we will forever remember her for her warmth, love, & generosity.
Sally was predeceased by her father & mother, Joseph & Emily DiMaggio, and is survived by her sisters, Tina Morris (Billy), Mary Volpe (Joe), & Jo Alexander (Tom), her 8 nieces & nephews, Joe & Sam Volpe, Emily, Kate, Allie, & Will Morris, & Amelia & Ryan Alexander, as well as her aunt, Debbie Rivera.
Sally graduated from Montclair High School & Kean University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Business. She recently worked for Cushman & Wakefield in Paramus, where she was a Property Administrator.
Sally was loved by everyone she met. Her laughter was infectious, her spirit of generosity was unmatched, and her love for her family & friends was fierce. She will be missed beyond words.
In keeping with Sally's generous and giving spirit, she gave in death as she gave in life with the gift of organ donation.
Sally’s life will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 28th, from 4 - 7PM at Caggiano Memorial Home, 62 Grove St, Montclair, with a funeral Mass on Thursday at 11AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Oratory, 94 Pine St, Montclair, interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery to follow.
