Obituary for Vincenza Salvante
Vincenza Salvante, 103, of Montclair, passed away at her home on January 14th, 2023, surrounded by her family.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday January 19th, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Oratory, in Montclair, with an interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Visiting Wednesday from 4-8pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair.
Vincenza was born in Calitri (AV) Italy to Michele Bozza and Maria Cristiani, before coming to Montclair in 1957. She worked at Celentano in Verona for many years.
In 1987, Vincenza retired and spent her time pursuing her passion of gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she adored.
Vincenza was predeceased by her husband Canio, 4 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by her daughter Maria Mullaney, and by her grandchildren, Alexandra Moherek and her husband Christopher Moherek, Lauren, Kelly, Christina Mullaney, and by her great-grandchildren, Thomas, Jackson, and Asher, and by her sisters Michelina and Nicolina.
