Obituary for Barbara Artale
Barbara Ann Artale (nee Caggiano), 75, of Montclair, passed away on February 20th, 2023. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am on Friday, February 24th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Montclair. Interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday February 23rd from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove Street, Montclair.
Barbara loved the beach and spending time in Manasquan, Lavallette and Ortley with her immediate and extended family. She enjoyed traveling and her favorite activity was spending time with her grandsons (music and sports). She worked at Montclair State College and then Sotheby’s Realty in Upper Montclair.
She is survived by her children Stephen and his wife Michelle, Jay and his wife Isabel, her brothers Michael J. Caggiano, Robert Caggiano and his wife Mary, her sister Susan Altieri and her husband Vito, her grandchildren Nicky, Julian, Zach, Jake, and Dylan as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her high school sweetheart Art Artale, parents Nicholas and Josephine Caggiano (nee Pondiscio), her sister-in-law Carol Caggiano, and her niece Dara Caggiano.
