Angela Capone, (nee DeFalco), 85, of Montclair NJ, peacefully passed away on March 7, 2023. Angela was the daughter of her beloved parents, Alphonse and Elsie DeFalco. She is predeceased by her husband, Carl Capone. She was also the youngest and last surviving of her three sisters, Anna, Marie, Millie, and her two brothers, Al and Charlie. She is survived and missed by her son Carl, daughter Tracey, son-in-law Pete, cherished grandchildren Nicole and Peter, and her many nieces and nephews. She spent the last years of her life blessed, thanks to the loving support of Carol Cotugno and her second family, the caring staff at Horizon Manor.
Known by her friends and family as “Angel”, she was one in every sense of the word. A food loving critic, she would never pass up any opportunity to eat a good meal! You could always count on Angel to tell you like it is, no matter how inappropriate or feisty it might be. She will be remembered as a fun-loving, strong, loud, sassy, funny, opinionated and an overall mouthy Italian who was never afraid to “bust your chops”!
She loved singing and dancing along to the radio, eating one of her daughter’s delicious home-cooked meals, and most of all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren that she loved to brag about. She will truly be missed.
To end this post as Angel would end her phone calls, “so long!”
