Obituary for Marie Rose Bardi
Marie Rose Bardi (May 14, 1925-April 10,2023) passed away peacefully, in the home she grew up and raised her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Carmelo Bardi, loving mother to George Bardi, Maria Mucci, and Patricia Vitorino. Dear mother-in-law to Joan Bardi, Al Mucci, and Joe Vitorino. Devoted grandmother of Christopher and Jennifer Bardi, Jessica and Mark Detroia, Lauren and Steven Onderdonk, Joseph and Casey Vitorino, Alexandria and Michael Dalton, and Michael Vitorino. Cherished great-grandmother of Cara, Emma, Julia, Daniella, Violet, and Liana Marie.
She is predeceased by her sisters, Geraldine, Caroline, Jean, and Josephine. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Marie was a lifelong resident of Belleville, NJ. She was an employee of Walter Kidde Manufacturing Company, an active member of the Columbiettes, and many other social clubs. For many years, she was a devoted member of St. Anthony’s Church and prayed the rosary daily. She loved to travel, play Bingo, laugh, have fun and danced well into her 90’s. Marie also loved to socialize and was adored by everyone who knew her. She added sparkle everywhere she went.
