Obituary for Eleanor Wadle

Eleanor Wadle was born in Verona NJ on Nov 01, 1931 to Philomena and Sebastian Guancione. Her friends and family knew her as a loving woman who always lightened the room with fun conversation and thoughtful gestures. She grew up enjoying the company of her beloved siblings Arthur, Angelo, Leonard, Victor, Mary, and her surviving sister Edith.
Eleanor was an avid Yankee fan, following the team from her childhood when she calculated running statistics each day of her favorite players from the newspaper box score, all the way through the rest of her life. Eleanor was very proud of her brothers’ military service, her Italian heritage, and her family, whom she always adored spending time with. In her early life she worked in the family’s dry-cleaning business. In 1962 she married her husband George Wadle and made a home in Wayne, NJ. She was always most proud of her son, Ken Wadle, an engineer for the US Army. Eleanor is also survived by nieces and nephews including Fred Gaeta and his wife Elaine, Janice Ebel and her husband Guy, as well as her beloved grand nieces and nephew, including Nicholas and Michelle Ebel, Jessica Gaeta, Danielle Zetterstrom and her husband Kevin and Jaqueline Burke and her husband Ed, and great grandnephew and nieces Vincent and Evelyn Zetterstrom and Corina and Nina Burke.
