Mary T. Haas, nee Slowinski, 85, beloved wife of Henry Haas, retired deacon of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Montclair, passed away peacefully at her home in Glen Ridge, leaving a family of her husband, five children, twelve grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She was an active Catholic mother, working at St Barnabas Hospital, and later as a school bus driver for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parochial school where she also taught kindergarten. She later drove a school bus for Kevah Konner bus company and the Martucci Bus Co., of West Orange, where she retired. She loved all the kids she transported back and forth to school and they in turn, loved her. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be missed.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday 10am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Montclair, cremation will be private. Visiting will be Wednesday from 2-4pm & 7-9pm, at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair. caggianomemorial.com
