Obituary for Tyrone Harris
Tyrone Harris died unexpectedly as a result of a stroke on September 6, 2014 at his dwelling in Montclair, New Jersey. Tyrone was born on January 2, 1957 at St. Barnabas hospital in Newark, New Jersey to his parents Elvira and John Lee Harris. He later moved to Montclair where he was raised with his loving family which included his brother, Roger Manzy Stewart.
Tyrone attended Montclair High School from 1972-1975. After graduation, he employed with various locations as a cook, the most recent employment being at Park Crescent Nursing home in Bloomfield, New Jersey.
Tyrone enjoyed sports, and is remembered for his fondness for participating in basketball throughout the years. His acts of kindness to seniors, his gentle, mild spirit and his loyalty to his mother in times of her need are memories that will be treasured. He leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Janelle Harris and Shainia Harris along with a grandson, Premiere Harris and a host of friends and relatives. Tyrone will be deeply missed by all.
