Obituary for Nancy Troast
Nancy Troast, 67, died unexpectedly on Friday evening, December 5th 2014. Visiting will be on Wednesday December 10th, from 4-7pm with a service beginning at 7pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair. caggianomemorial.com
Nancy grew up in Montclair as part of a large New Jersey family and spent her summers at the shore in Harvey Cedars. She was vivacious and embraced life with her family and friends. She could often be found swimming, waterskiing, sailing, SCUBA diving, traveling and riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle. She was always ready to listen, give advice and let people into her heart and home. Nancy's loving nature was most evident by the special care and attention that she paid to her grandchildren, Kai and Christopher.
She leaves behind siblings Gordon Troast, Judith Levine, and William Troast; children and their families Deborah Capobianco, husband Andre Ward and son Christopher, Augustine Joseph Capobianco Jr. and daughter Kai, and Gary Capobianco, wife Sherri, daughter Veronica.
She is preceded in death by parents Helen Dunn and Paul L. Troast Jr. and her brother Paul L. Troast III.
Nancy, Nana, Nance, Mrs. C will be missed by all.
Memorials in lieu of flowers to the Arthritis Foundation, arthritis.org, would be appreciated.
