Obituary for Michael P Russomano Sr.


Michael Russomano, Sr. 83, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 19th, 2016. 2016. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday December 28th t 10:30am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Montclair, cremation will be privateVisiting will be held on Tuesday December 27th from 2-4 &7-9pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair. caggianomemorial.com

Beloved husband of the recently deceased Frances for 60 years, Michael was born and raised in Montclair, NJ. He graduated from Montclair High School in 1950 and served in the United States Army 2nd Armored Division post Korean War. He was a successful owner of electrical contracting businesses, Premium Electric and MPR Electric. Michael and Frances raised their family in Little Falls/Fairfield and more recently resided in Brick, NJ. They both enjoyed traveling to their condo in Port St. Lucie, Florida and cheering for their beloved New York Yankees, New York Giants and Villanova Basketball.



Michael was a loving and well respected Dad - was pre-deceased by his daughter Debra Ann and is survived by his children, Michael Russomano, Jr. and his wife Deborah, James Russomano and his wife Anne, Frank Russomano and his wife Aimee, Donna DeRosa (nee Russomano) and her husband Greg, his 13 grandchildren, Michael III and his wife Kaitlin, Alexandra and her husband Brian, Matthew, James Jr. and his wife Samantha, Amie, Christopher, Michelle, Frank Jr., Amanda, Nicholas, Anthony, Brianna and Luca, and his sister, Mary Strazza. He was predeceased by his sister, Lucille Miller and brother Frank.
