Obituary for Mary Bishop

Mary Bishop, (nee Matrisciano), of Montclair, passed away at her home on Tuesday August 15th, 2017. Funeral beginning from Caggiano Memorial at 9am on Monday August 21st with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:30am at The Church of the Immaculate Conception-St Teresa’s of Calcutta Parish, with an entombment at Mount Hebron Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting will be held on Saturday from 4-8pm and Sunday from 2-6pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair. Caggianomemorial.com
Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren at her home and attending their sporting events, and was an avid Yankee fan.
Mary is survived by her children, Ray Bishop Jr. (Teri), John Bishop, MaryAnn Bethke (Cliff), Carol Bishop, Lynn Theobald (Paul), and Mark Bishop, and by her grandchildren, Matthew, Michael (Meghan), Courtney, Jessica, Meghan, Timothy, Ashley, Kimberly, Paul Jr., Patrick, Katherine, and Jennifer (Kevin), and by her siblings Lou Matrisciano, Ann Marie Sarno, and Theresa Guerin, and by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Ray Bishop Sr. in 2003 and by her siblings, Florence Priore, Julia Tornambe, Rose Moore, Carmel Baldwin, Sam, Joseph, Frank, Angelo and Catherine Matrisciano.
