Louise arrived at F.D.U. as I was departing.......we stayed connected based on her frienship with a Professor colleague of mine. Louise sent me a copy of VERTIGO with remarks when it was published.
She was the essence of a scholar, researcher, teacher and writer. I recall purchasing multiple copies of her memoir and giving them as gifts. My respect and admiration for her talent was enormous. In a world that is currently devoid of Literacy and Cultural awareness, Louise's passing shall leave more of a void ion the planet.
