Claire Duer Nance, 84, formally of Upper Montclair, passed away August 22. She is survived by daughters Elisa Diebold and Henrietta Duer Whyte, son-in-laws George Diebold and Hugh Whyte, a grandson Marshall Diebold, Johanna Luzak and two great-grandchildren, Dorian and

Frankie Diebold.

A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
