Obituary for Carl D Iacobuzio

Carl D. Iacobuzio, 91, formerly of Port Chester, NY passed away Saturday, December 6th, 2014. Visiting will be on Thursday December 11th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair, NJ.caggianomemorial.com A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday 10am at St Cassian Church in Upper Montclair, NJ. A committal service will follow at 12.30pm at St Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook, NY.

Carl was born in Pietragalla, Italy, coming to the United States when he was 7 and was raised in Claremont, NH. He lived in and raised his children in Rye Brook, NY and also lived in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Warren, CT, Sharon, CT, Naples FL and most recently Montclair NJ. Carl had an exceptional career in sales for F.R. Tripler & Co. in New York City and was a WWII veteran. He served as a Staff Sergeant in France, Germany and Czechoslovakia and fought in The Battle of the Bulge.

Carl is survived by his wife of 66 years, Grace (nee Nitti), his children, Anne Reichel, Theodore and Janet Iacobuzio, his grandchildren, Mark Reichel, Cecilia and Nicholas Iacobuzio, and is predeceased by his sister, Carmela DeBonis.

Memorials in lieu of flowers to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org, would be appreciated.
