Obituary for Jean R. Hudson
Jean R. Hudson, 92, of West Caldwell, passed away on July 8th, 2017. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 12th at 10:30 am at The Church of Immaculate Conception in Montclair. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 9:00 - 10:00 am at Caggiano Memorial Home, 62 Grove St, Montclair. Caggianomemorial.com
Jean was born and raised in Montclair, later moved to Verona, eventually settling in West Caldwell 9 years ago. She was employed by Merck Pharmaceutical as a Research Chemical Librarian for many years. She also was a member of the Immaculate Conception Choir, a Hospice Volunteer and translated books into Braille for the blind.
Jean is survived by her sister, Sister Regina Hudson ,S.C., her nephew, Robert F. Johnston III, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sisters and brothers, Michael, Helen, Mary, Joseph and Al.
