Condolences to Helen and the Flora family. I am going to miss Chief Flora, as I think of all the big fires, small fires and crazy calls that we responded to my love for Bob Flora will not diminish. He taught me a lot about becoming a Firefighter when I was a rookie and he was a role model for me as an Jersey City Fire Officer. He could be a tough guy or a gentle giant, he loved to prank the guys and could take it as well as he gave. He will be missed by me and the men and woman of the Jersey City Fire Dept
